As a general machinery trading company, Seika Corporation provides domestic sales as well as import and export of various plants, environmental equipment, electronic equipment, information communication equipment, and other machinery and equipment used in every industry under the motto of “contributing to the development of a prosperous society through the trading of machinery.”

Overview

History

The Company was established in 1947 in Moji-shi (currently Moji-ku, Kitakyushu-shi) by company officials of the former Mitsubishi Corporation, which was dissolved before the establishment.

In 1948, the Company opened offices in western Japan in the cities of Nagasaki, Fukuoka, Osaka, and Hiroshima. In 1954, the Company established its first overseas representative office in West Germany, and in 1961, it became listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

In 1983, the Company moved its head office to Tokyo. In 2022, it was listed on the Prime Market of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, and as of 2023, the Company has grown to a group with 137 locations (112 in Japan and 25 overseas) and continues to expand its business.

Energy Business

Energy is the key infrastructure that forms the basis of daily life and economic activities.
We provide sales and after-sales service for energy-related equipment in line with the Green Growth Strategy for electric power companies and other core industries that support social infrastructure, such as petroleum, chemicals, and steel manufacturing.

As a general machinery trading company, we provide sales and maintenance of various products and equipment to contribute to improved productivity and reduced impact on the environment through energy and resource saving and DX conversion at plants.
We support a wide variety of industrial fields such as fiber, film, food and beverages, and plant engineering.

The Group’s greatest strength is the unique products owned by group companies and our strong competitive products in various markets, including niche markets. While we have many products and commercial rights, we value the relationships we have built with each of our manufacturers and conduct sales activities while keeping in mind these connections so that we can grow together.
